This book is divided into two parts. Part one focuses on understanding these important insects. It shows that bees are not matriarchal but also that they are such a well organised community of insects, wiht clear roles for every hive occupant, with a complex communication system that human armies can not help but marvel at. The second part oresents the practice of bee keeping. Donald Kugonza teaches bee keeping and apiculture at Makerere University.
