This is an account of the civil war that ravaged the Teso sub region for the better part of a decade. This account is by someone who accepted the Ugandan president's request that he suspend his professional duties and take up the daunting challenge of heading a team set up to bring peace to a region that had just become impoverished and humiliated. The team was named the Teso Peace Commission.
Teso War is an important book that everyone who is interested in the causes of rebellion and war, their consequences, and possible solutions to them should have.
